What does the Delete Pages tool do?

The FreePDF Delete Pages tool shows every page of your PDF as a thumbnail. Click the pages you don't want, hit delete, and the remaining pages are assembled into a clean new PDF.

Pages are copied losslessly with pdf-lib — the pages you keep are byte-for-byte identical to the originals.

How to delete pages

  1. 1
    Add your PDF

Drag and drop or browse for the document you want to clean up.

  2. 2
    Select pages to delete

Click the thumbnails of the pages you want removed. Selected pages are highlighted.

  3. 3
    Click Delete pages

pdf-lib builds a new document from the remaining pages in your browser.

  4. 4
    Download the result

Save the trimmed PDF to your device. No watermarks, no account.

What FreePDF Delete Pages can do

  • Visual page selection with real thumbnails
  • Delete any combination of pages in one pass
  • Lossless — kept pages are untouched
  • Works entirely in your browser — no file uploads

Privacy — your files stay on your device

Delete Pages runs entirely inside your browser using pdf-lib and PDF.js (Mozilla) — open-source, audited libraries with millions of users. Your files are loaded into browser memory, processed on your CPU, and written back out as a direct download. Nothing is sent to any server — you can verify this in your browser devtools → Network tab. Close the tab and everything is cleared from memory.

Known limitations

FreePDF is honest about what it can and cannot do:
