This policy explains how FreePDF handles information when you visit freepdf.app and use its browser-based PDF tools. FreePDF is designed to minimise data collection and keep document processing on your device.
How your documents are handled
FreePDF's document tools run locally in your browser. Files you select are loaded into your device's browser memory and processed there. FreePDF does not upload the contents of your PDFs or converted documents to a server for processing. Closing the browser tab clears the working data held in that tab's memory.
Information collected automatically
When you visit the website, hosting, security, analytics and advertising services may process limited technical information such as your IP address, browser and device type, referring page, approximate location, pages visited and diagnostic events. This is separate from the contents of documents you process.
Advertising and cookies
FreePDF uses Google AdSense. Google and its partners may use cookies, device identifiers or similar technologies to deliver, limit and measure advertisements, and may personalise ads where you have consented. Analytics and site operation
The website may use analytics and performance services to understand aggregate usage, diagnose faults and improve pages. These services may set or read identifiers and receive technical visit information. They do not receive the contents of the PDF files you process through FreePDF's browser-based tools.

FreePDF may link to websites operated by other organisations. Their privacy practices are governed by their own policies. Review those policies before providing personal information or uploading documents to another service.
Children's privacy
FreePDF is a general-audience utility and is not directed at children under 13. We do not knowingly request personal information from children through the PDF tools.
